Zero Beverage Container Waste Leaders have taken their 2020 vision a step further. They not only support Zero Beverage Container Waste, they are taking action to reduce beverage container waste and help move us towards our Zero Waste Goal!
Terracycle
Terracycle provides an alternative to trashing (or even recycling) postconsumer plastic soda bottles. The company uses the empty bottles to package its organic plant food. By reusing the old bottles Terracycle is eliminating the need to purchase millions of new bottles each year to package its plant food.
Watermill Express
Watermill Express is reducing beverage container waste by offering consumers an alternative to bottled water. Their customers bring their own 1-gallon, 3-gallon, or 5-gallon containers to their drive-up stations and refill them with pure drinking water. The containers are used again and again.
